Deze Bardolino Le Fontane van Corte Gardoni is ongecompliceerd en heeft een zachte tanninestructuur. Door de frisheid en het lichte rode fruit karakter is het ideaal om jong te drinken en licht gekoeld (16 graden) te serveren. Goed te combineren bij lichte kipgerechten en antipasti.
De familie Piccoli teelt al meer dan 400 jaar druiven. Piccoli’s drie zonen beheren tot op heden 25 hectare wijngaarden. Deze Bardolino, La Fontane wordt gemaakt van 60% corvina en 40% rondinella van wijnstokken die 5 tot 40 jaar oud zijn. Wanneer de druiven volledig rijp zijn worden ze handmatig geplukt en gesorteerd. Bij aankomst in het wijnhuis worden ze geperst en vergist het sap een aantal maanden in roestvrijstalen tanks. De wijn wordt jong gebotteld en op de markt gebracht.
