Product-info: Een stevige en intense, ambachtelijke cognac van Giboin uit de Borderies van 9 jaar oud. Na een half jaar op Pineaux de Charentes-vaten, rijpte het 6 jaar op Frans eiken, in de laatste 2,5 jaar werd in een groot assemblage-vat heel langzaam verdund naar bijna 46%. De geur is kruidig met hints van rozijnen en krenten, tonen van eikenhout en wat fruitig. De smaak is na een paar minuten stevig, zonder scherpte: we we proeven rozijnen, leer en tabak, peper, eikenhout, iets vanille en rijp tropisch fruit. De finish is lang en intens, hout en fruit met hints van koffie en leer.
