Over de wijn
Een oer-Verdejo, dit smaakt zoals het vroeger was. Althans dat zeggen de oude “locals” als je ze dit voorzet. In ieder geval is dit een Verdejo Nature. Biologisch verbouwde wijngaard op kalk-leem bodem. En zonder sulfiet bij de vinificatie. Wel de malolactische vergisting gehad en daardoor ook wat minder hoog in zijn zuren. Het is allemaal wat zachter en wat romig.
Intens bloemig van aroma, melkachtige tonen, natte aarde, mostachtig, tja eigenlijk gewoon druivensap. Afdronk ook weer bloemachtig, met wat honing en ook een wat biroche indrukken. We denken wel een goede combi met Kip a L’Orange.
