Deze Godello van Merayo is een heldere lichtgele wijn in het glas met intense aroma’s van groene appel, nectarine, citrusfruit en venkel. Deze wijn is heerlijk als aperitief of bij zeevruchten en visgerechten.
In 2010, na 20 jaar met zorg en toewijding voor zijn wijngaarden te hebben gezorgd, begon Pedro Merayo zijn eigen Bodegas y Viñedos Merayo en omvat 10 hectare wijngaarden. De wijngaarden liggen op 600-670 meter hoogte en zijn aangeplant met mencía, godello en een klein beetje doña blanca. De godello druivenstokken van Merayo groeien op kleibodems die op de oppervlakte bezaaid zijn met grote keien. Nadat de druiven handmatig zijn geplukt ondergaan ze gedurende 24 uur een schilinweking in roestvrijstalen tanks. Na afloop van de alcoholische fermentatie rust de wijn nog vier maanden op zijn lie.
