De serie 'Crystal' is het resultaat van onderzoek naar stalagmieten, een van de grootste wonderen van de natuur. Het groeiproces van de objecten kan worden gezien als een metafoor voor tijd. Elk object is uniek in vorm, kleur en textuur, door de organische ontwikkeling van het object. De objecten zijn het resultaat van de natuurlijke kristallisatie van mineralen en de invloed van de ontwerper op het vormingsproces. Dit proces kan tot enkele weken duren om de perfecte vorm, interessante kleurencombinaties en afmetingen van kristallen te verkrijgen.
