“Ladi” means oil in Greek, and this is a single estate unfiltered monovarietal and organically cultivated ultra-premium extra virgin olive oil made of the regal/king variety of olives, Koroneiki. Every harvest, at an altitude of 600m above sea level amidst junipers, citruses, and arbutus trees, the family selects the olives by hand and first cold press them. The result is a superb delicate, bright, fresh, and intensively fruity extra virgin olive oil with very low acidity of 0.1-0.2 and with a very high content of oleic acid and polyphenols that give it superb health benefits and therapeutic properties.
The organoleptic characteristics show a well-balanced olive oil with medium fruitiness (5.5), bitterness (5), and pungent (4.5). The flavors that emerge are tomato leaves, eucalyptus and a combination of herbaceous and fresh grass taste with a delicate peppery finish. It pairs exceptionally well with fish, meats, vegetables, bread, and salads, and it's ideal for everyday use too!
