Pommard ligt in Côte de Beaune, onderdeel van de Côte d’Or van de Bourgogne. Premier Cru betekent dat de wijnstokken groeien op een locatie met de meeste zonuren en beste terroir. Zo kunnen de druiven mooi rijpen en nemen ze de lekkerste voedingsstoffen op uit de grond. Dit zorgt voor een prachtige mineraliteit die diepgang geeft aan de wijn. Heeft een frisse aromatische neus, met mooie kersensmaken die lang blijven hangen.
