La Val dei Preti is een ‘single vineyard’ wijn.
Hier meer klei in de bodem dan bij de ‘gewone’ Roero. Deze wijngaard ligt volledig op het zuiden met lage opbrengsten. 18 maanden barrique, waarvan 50% nieuw. Expressieve, zwoele nebbiolo. Vol, fluwelige aanzet, rijpe tannines en fijne zuren. Wijn voor aan tafel bij steak van de grill, wildgerechten en rijpe kazen.
