Elegante Rioja tinto met in de geur aroma’s van rijper rood fruit (frambozen, rode bessen), florale tonen en zeer subtiele tonen van tabak en specerijen. De wijn heeft frisheid, fijne zuren en tannine en een lange afdronk.

Sinds 2014 maakt Oscar samen met zijn vrouw wijn in het dorpje Sajazarra in het noordwesten van de Rioja. Alegre Valganon is een kleine bodega die zich focust op terroir en speciale wijngaarden in de Rioja. Ze kijken hoe de wijn vroeger gemaakt werd, voor al het Amerikaans hout en de zware wijnen. Het koppel werkt per parceel, met een gelijke verdeling tussen tempranillo, granacha en cariñena voor rood en voor wit voornamelijk viura en malvasia. De meeste wijngaarden bevinden zich op steile hellingen, in de koelere gebieden van de rioja. Er worden zo min mogelijk interventies gebruikt om wijn te maken, zodat vooral de origen en druivensoorten spreken.
