Beaphar Vitamine C voor cavia’s is geschikt als dagelijkse bron van Vitamine C. Omdat cavia’s deze stof zelf niet aanmaken is dagelijks verstrekken vereist. Vitamine C, is belangrijk voor het beendergestel, het gebit en het bindweefsel. De in de tablet aanwezige vitamine C is stabiel en vervliegt dus niet.
