Er wordt wat afgekloond in de wijnwereld. De Pinot Grigio is dus hetzelfde als Pinot Gris en ze zijn beide weer een kloon van de Pinot Noir. Ze zijn wel familie, maar toch hebben ze een ander karakter. Grigio en Gris betekent grijs en dat is de kleur van de schil. Maar bovenal een fantastisch glas wijn. Heerlijk kruidig, vol, rond, maar behoud altijd zijn frisse karakter. Deze wijn past uitstekend bij gerechten met romige sauzen, gegrilde witvis of gerookte zalm.
