De Gewürztraminer van Wijndomein Aldenborgh is zoals de meeste Gewürztraminer wijnen. Vaak zijn ze zeer aromatisch maar vervelen tegelijkertijd ook snel want behalve heerlijk geurend hebben ze weinig om het lijf. De kunst is om te blijven verleiden, en dat doet deze Gewurztraminer uit oogstjaar 2018. Tropisch fruit, steenfruit, ook wat lychee & rozen, typisch voor deze druif. Lekker vol van smaak en ondanks het wat hogere alcoholpercentage is dit een verfrissende witte die blijft boeien tot de laatste slok.
De Gewürztraminer van Wijndomein Aldenborgh gaat past goed bij de Aziatische gerechten met milde/ medium pittigheid. Door de aroma's en zuren verzacht de wijn de pikante tonen, maar laat de smaken mooi naar voren komen. Denk bijvoorbeeld aan een Groene curry met kip, bloemkool en een eitje.

In de wijngaard van wijnmakers Peter & Chris Peltzer gaat alles over symbiose. De samenwerking tussen planten, schimmels en dieren. Hierdoor ontstaat een gezond bodemleven en worden plagen uit de wijngaard weggehouden. Chris is microbioloog en zet zijn kennis in om onder andere eigen gisten en natuurlijke hulpstoffen voor de druivenstokken te maken.
