Gierst is een glutenvrij graangewas met een licht zoet smaak dat gebruikt kan worden als rijst of couscous.De verpakking is gemaakt van polypropeen en soms een klein laagje polyetheen. Beiden zijn volledig recyclebaar.
Gebruiker Tips: Reken 50 gram gierst per persoon en laat deze 25 minuten koken met 2,5 keer zoveel water. Heerlijk als pilav, met groenten of verwerkt in een vergetarische burger.
