LastSwab is een herbruikbaar, duurzaam en hygiënisch alternatief voor wegwerp wattenstaafjes. De LastSwab komt in een mooi vormgegeven hoes gemaakt van maiszetmeel.
De lastswab heeft twee uiteindes met daarop een flexibel en gemakkelijk afwasbaar 'watje'. Het werd speciaal ontworpen voor een veilig gebruik bij baby's met een verdikking zodat het staafje nooit (te) diep in de oren kan.
De LastSwab is zeer gemakkelijk schoon te maken met water en zeep. Daarna berg je de LastSwab weer netjes op in zijn hoes.
De hoes van de LastSwab is gemaakt van PLA. PLA, polymelkzuur of polylactide is de naam voor thermoplastische polymeren van melkzuur. Ze zijn biologisch afbreekbaar, biocompatibel en worden geproduceerd uit hernieuwbare plantaardige grondstoffen (maiszetmeel), en worden daarom gepromoot als duurzaam alternatief voor traditionele plastics.
