Maria de Guadalupe, la reina de México!
In Mexico regeert een koningin, al 125 jaar lang. De Virgen de Guadalupe, het beeld van de maagd Maria. Zij is de beschermheilige, beschermvrouwe en heilige moeder van de Mexicaanse natie, en een bron van troost voor alle Latijns-Amerikanen. De tempel van de Virgen wordt beschouwd als de heiligste plaats op het westelijk halfrond voor katholieken. Terwijl er in Mexico mensen zijn die niet religieus zijn of zelfs tegen religie, zijn er geen Mexicanen die anti-Guadalupe zijn. De liefde voor dit beeld zit in het bloed van hun voorouders verweven.
Tegenwoordig worden de beelden niet langer gemaakt van gips, maar van epoxy, terwijl de beschildering nog steeds met de hand gebeurt.
De Virgen is verkrijgbaar in vier kleuren: Wit, roze, groen en blauw. De hoogte van het beeld is 37 cm. De aura aan de achterzijde is makkelijk te verwijderen.
