Extra Info: De rode en rosé-wijnen van Montgravet zijn afkomstig uit de Languedoc. DeMontgravet Sauvignon komt uit de de Côtes de Gascogne, een gebied aan de kustvan de Atlantische Oceaan ten noorden van de Bordeaux. De Gascogne staatvanwege zijn koele klimaat bekend om zijn frisse en aromatische witte wijnen.Voorheen werd in dit gebied vooral Armagnac geproduceerd, maar tegenwoordigworden deze druiven vooral gebruikt voor de productie van witte wijn met vaakeen uitstekende pirjs-kwaliteitverhouding. Ook sauvignon blanc doet het in ditkoele gebied uitstekend en levert in het geval van Montgravet een sappige enaromatische wijn op
