Three Cup Chicken is een typische Taiwanese gerecht, en het is verrassend eenvoudig te bereiden. Omdat het simpelweg al heel goed is gekruid;)
De naam komt van "één kopje van elk", sojasaus, rijstwijnazijn en sesamolie ("drie kopjes" totaal), hoewel dit niet helemaal waar is. Het recept is gebaseerd op 2 delen sojasaus en 2 delen rijstwijnazijn op 1 deel sesamolie.
Elke keer als je in een taai stuk soja bijt, proef je de veelzijdige smaken. Het is in veel opzichten veel beter dan het origineel! Heerlijk in combinatie met rijst en paksoi of andere groenten
