Points of attention for the use of aluminum pans:

Aluminum pans get a dark color on the inside when you boil water in them.?For that reason, it is advised to only use aluminum pans for preparing meals.

Should you nevertheless want to boil water in an aluminum pan (for example for boiling eggs or potatoes), it is recommended to grease the inside of the pan with oil before filling the pan with water. That way the discoloration is less.
