Proyecto Hermanas is like throwing a question into the air in order to challenge traditions, but, at the same time, respecting them and establishing our own legacy from Mendoza through a new path of work. It is a search for our personal style, dreaming of a path to walk together and bring closer the geographical distances that separate us. 

It's an opportunity to miss each other less, to laugh at our differences and join forces with nature. There is not an exact reason behind this project, although it is fair to say that the desire to share a new venture was key as well as the need for change, a constant in our lives

75% Malbec y Cabernet Franc 25%.

VINEYARD

Perdriel, Luján de Cuyo, and Gualtallary, Tupungato – Mendoza. Planted in 1998 and 2005, respectively. Altitude: 980 y 1350 masl, respectively.

VINEYARD STRUCTURE/YIELD

FERMENTATION PROCESS

Pre-fermentative cold maceration for 3 days. Fermentation with indigenous yeasts. During this stage daily pumpers and delestages are carried out. The total maceration time is 20 to 25 days at a maximum temperature of 30º-31º. Malolactic fermentation produced spontaneously.

AGING

100% of the wine spent 12 months in 2nd use French oak barrels of 225 and 600 liters.

TASTING NOTES

COLOR: dark red with violet reflections.

AROMA: red fruits and fresh herbs, species and very subtle oak bring great finesse and complexity.

FLAVOR: the tannins have good grip and structure. With long and fresh finish.

PAIRING SUGGESTION

Good with red and white meats, pasta and any type of cheese.
