Akolip is transparant, zodat de vervelende lipblaasjes niet nog eens extra worden geaccentueerd. Een voordeel van Akolip is dat het ook kan worden gebruikt als de lipblaasjes al aanwezig zijn. De gel moet in een dik laagje 4-6 maal per dag worden aangebracht.
Akolip wordt gebruikt bij blaasjes op of rond de lippen. Akolip bevat zinksulfaat en is een verkoelende, transparante gel waardoor lipblaasjes niet extra worden geaccentueerd.
