Altas Cumbres is our collection of young and expressive wines. They display a delicate balance of fruit and acidity, so they can be paired with a variety of foods and everyday enjoyment. Each varietal is true to its classic characteristics, with a consistently smooth and fruit-forward profile. The red wines are Cabernet Sauvignon and Malbec, 30% of them are aged in oak, achieving balance and flavor. The white wines are Sauvignon Blanc and Torrontés.
VARIETAL COMPOSITION: Cabernet Sauvignon 100%.VINEYARD: Luján de Cuyo – Mendoza. Planted in: 1992, 1992, 1998, 2003. Altitude: 980 masl.VINEYARD STRUCTURE/YIELD: High vine training. Drip irrigation. Cordon pruning with spurs. Average yield: 100-120 q/ha.FERMENTATION PROCESS: In stainless steal tanks with daily pumpovers and a controlled temperature under 28 °C. The maceration lasts between 8 and 12 days, depending on daily tastings. The Malolactic fermentation is spontaneous.AGING: 30% of the wine.
