Altas Cumbresis our collection of young and expressive wines. They display a delicate balance of fruit and acidity, so they can be paired with a variety of foods and everyday enjoyment. Each varietal is true to its classic characteristics, with a consistently smooth and fruit-forward profile.The red wines are Cabernet Sauvignon and Malbec, 30% of them are aged in oak, achieving balance and flavor. The white wines are Sauvignon Blanc and Torrontés.

VARIETAL COMPOSITION: 100% Malbec.

VINEYARD: Luján de Cuyo – Mendoza. Planted in 1906, 1930, 1995, 2007. Altitude: 850 and 980 masl.

VINEYARD STRUCTURE/YIELD: Two types of plantations: Low vine training. Surface irrigation: Cane and spur pruning. High density plantation. And high vine training. Drip irrigation. Cordon pruning with spurs.

FERMENTATION PROCESS: In stainless steal tanks with daily pumpovers and a controlled temperature under 28 °C. The maceration lasts between 8 and 12 days, depending on daily tastings. The Malolactic fermentation is spontaneous.

AGING: 30% of the wine spent between 3-5 months in oak barrels (50% French and 50% American).

STORAGE IN BOTTLE: Up to 5 years since the harvest year.

COLOR: intense color with red hues.

AROMA: robust flavors, strong notes of jam and berries.

FLAVOR: good persistence in the mouth, armonious and complex.

PAIRING SUGGESTION: Ideal to accompany roasted duck or stewed meats.

CONTENT: 0.75 L
