Onze amandelspread is heel Siciliaans!! De amandel is het meest gebruikte gedroogde fruit in de Siciliaanse keuken, vooral in gebak, maar ook in hartige gerechten, en overal zijn festivals gewijd aan bloeiende amandelbomen.
Als ontbijt of tussendoortje kan de amandelspread worden uitgesmeerd op koekjes, fruit of gemengd met yoghurt.
Als je lekkere gebakjes wilt maken, is amandelcrème perfect.
