Description
Carpano Vermouth Antica Formula, een van de oudste Vermouth, heeft zijn oorsprong in het recept van 1786. Het is de eerste Vermouth waarbij gebruik wordt gemaakt van witte wijnen uit Zuid-Italië, met name de Piemonte Moscatel. Het unieke recept omvat speciaal geselecteerde bergkruiden, gedroogde vruchten, fijne specerijen en sinaasappelzestes, wat resulteert in een geur die doet denken aan verrijkte Oloroso sherry met kruiden en een vleugje bitterheid van sinaasappel.
Carpano Vermouth Antica Formula heeft een perfecte zoet/bitterverhouding en leent zich uitstekend als basis voor klassieke cocktails zoals de Negroni of Americano. Hoewel het ideaal is als aperitief met ijsblokjes, past het ook goed bij hartige kazen na de maaltijd. Het label op de fles is een replica van het historische ontwerp.
