COCKTAIL
Dit is natuurlijk een perfecte rum om mee te mixen, maar kan ook een goede smaakmaker zijn in desserts. Een bekende cocktail is de Cuba Libre, een mix met cola. Maak ook eens een Red Rum:
· 6 cl Bacardi Superior Rum
· 3 cl grenadine siroop
· 9 cl sinaasappelsap
Doe wat ijs in een longdrinkglas en schenk de sinaasappelsap in. Meng de rum en grenadine in een mengglas of een cocktailshaker en giet het uit in het glas. Garneer met een kers, sinaasappelschijfje of een schijfje citroen.
BIJZONDERHEDEN
Deze kristalheldere rum heeft een jaar op eikenhouten vaten gerijpt en krijgt mede hier door een subtiele droge smaak.
