De baobabboom is wijd verspreid in de savanne en drogere gebieden van Afrika en wordt ook wel apenbroodboom genoemd. De boom bereikt een hoogte van 20 m en is al lange tijd een belangrijke bron van menselijke voeding. De vrucht wordt geoogst met een minimale impact op het milieu. Nadat de vrucht werd geoogst, wordt de harde buitenschaal opengebroken en de inhoud eruit gehaald. De Baobabvrucht staat bekend om zijn hoge gehalte aan vitamine C en vezels. De vrucht bevat ook essentiële mineralen als calcium, kalium, magnesium en ijzer.
Smaakt naar karamel, peer en grapefruit.

Gebruik
Voeg 2 tot 3 koffielepels Purasana bio baobabpoeder toe aan uw smoothies, shakes,melk, soja of rijst drank, vruchtensap, yoghurt, ontbijtgranen of in gerechten. Het Purasana Baobab bio poeder is ook heerlijk verwerkt in cakebeslag, brood, pannenkoeken en andere desserts. U kunt ook meerdere soorten superfoods samen gebruiken.
Droog bewaren & de zak na elk gebruik goed sluiten.
