Met een juichkreet sprong Dummie uit de auto, rende naar de piramide en begon te klimmen.
'Hé, mag dat wel?' riep Klaas. 'Dúmmie!'
Dummie draaide zich om, stak zijn handen in de lucht en schreeuwde het uit. 'Maashi! Ik ben er! Mijn land! Mijn land is er nog! Ik ben terug! Ghoera!' Als een dolleman sprong hij van de ene steen op de andere. 'Ghoera! Darwishi Ur-Atum Msamaki Minkabh Ishaq Eboni is terug!'
Dummie is dolblij. Na een spannende reis is hij terug in Egypte om samen met Goos en Klaas het graf van zijn vader, farao Achnetoet, te zoeken. Vol goede moed gaan ze op pad. Maar Egypte is na vierduizend jaar helemaal veranderd en het graf van Achnetoet is nergens te vinden. Dan gebeurt er iets verschrikkelijks en plotseling zijn Goos en Dummie in groot gevaar...
