Onze bulghur komt uit Zuid-Oost Turkije, van een boerencoöperatie van 74 biologische boeren. Zij telen en verwerken de bulgur zelf. Ze stomen eerst de hele durum tarwekorrels die ze daarna tussen stenen malen. Dit levert mooie grove bulghur op met een optimale voedingswaarde. Bulghur heeft een kooktijd van ongeveer 7 minuten. Laat het vervolgens nog 10 minuten afgedekt staan. Zowel warm als koud lekker, maar ook te verwerken in koekjes, taart of zelfs in pap.
