Deze vertikale, ronde kandelaars doen me elke keer weer aan de lauwerkrans van Ceasar denken zoals 'ie in Astrix en Obelix is getekend, Vandaar ook de verwijzing naar de lauwerkrans in de naam van deze speciale kandelaar.
De krans is 30 centimeter in doorsnede, de gouden krans met besjes omarmt eigenlijk de kaars.
Op de een of andere manier vraagt deze kandelaar vanwege de vertikale orientatie om een plek op de schoorsteenmantel of een ander mooi richeltje.
De blaadjes kan je zelf een beetje naar eigen inzicht buigen. Je kunt er natuurlijk ook heel goed kerstgroen of iets met een besje of een droogbloem doorheen weven.
