- Over deze wijn: Château Magnan La Gaffelière werd zo rond 1770 opgericht door de toenmalige vatenmaker van het veel beroemdere Château La Gaffelière. Beide domeinen bevinden zich in de appellatie Saint-Émilion. Château Magnan La Gaffelière behoort tot de appellatie Saint-Émilion Grand Cru. De grand vin van dit domein wordt gemaakt van de druiven merlot, cabernet franc en cabernet sauvignon. De samenstelling van de uiteindelijke blend wisselt jaarlijks. De wijn rijpt twaalf maanden op Franse eikenhouten vaten, waarvan jaarlijks 30% wordt vernieuwd.

- Wijn Herkomst: Frankrijk, Saint-Émilion
- Geur & Smaak: Klassieke rechteroever Bordeaux met tonen van zwart en rood fruit, zoals pruimen, kersen en cassis. Daarnaast proef je vanille, specerijen en tabak. Met zachte tannines en een lange afdronk.
- Lekker bij: Lamsvlees of rundvleesgerechten zoals ossenhaas, biefstuk of entrecote. Gaat ook goed met gebakken paddenstoelen. Schenk hem gerust na een goed diner bij gerijpte Hollandse kaas. Lam Rund
