Château Bel-Air behoort tot de Vignobles Dubard, een samenwerkingsverband van wijnhuizen die in particulier familiebezit zijn. Wijn uit een van de satellietgemeenten van St Emilion, Puisseguin St. Emilion van een kalkhoudend plateau ooit ontstaan door erosie van de Dordogne. De kleiïge maar kalkhouden bodem is de basis voor stevige en volle wijnen. De negentig procent merlotdruiven zorgen voor dikte en smeuïgheid, de tien procent cabernet franc voor grip en frisheid. De wijn heeft 12 tot 18 maanden houtopvoeding gehad op Frans eiken waarvan 30% nieuw.Diepdonker helder rood, geurige wijn met typische Bordeauxneus. Donker kersenrood van kleur. Volop gekonfijt rood fruit in de geur, aangevuld met discrete rook- en toastaroma’s. De aanzet is zijdezacht met versmolten tannines en een goede concentratie. De finale is gul, fris en bijzonder aangenaam, met nuances van drop en bosvruchtjes.vinificatie
De druiven worden al voor de oogst streng op kwaliteit gecontroleerd. Alles wat niet goed genoeg is, wordt weggeknipt. De perfect rijpe en gezonde druiven ondergaan een inweking en alcoholische gisting van 3 tot 4 weken in thermisch gereguleerde rvs-tanks. De malolactische gisting en rijping vinden plaats in vaten van Frans eikenhout (30% nieuw) gedurende 12 tot 18 maanden. ‹›Related Products
