Deze La Voulte-Gasparets Blanc is een geconcentreerde wijn met uitgesproken aroma’s van grapefruit, rode appel, peer en witte peper. In de afdronk een duidelijke textuur en licht bittertje. Heerlijk als aperitief en te combineren met gegrilde vis, groenten en asperges.
De families Pauc, Grulet, Bergès en Reverdy runnen Château La Voulte-Gasparets al zes generaties lang samen. Deze wijn wordt gemaakt van rolle 50%, grenache 25%, marssanne 10%, roussanne 10% en macabeo 5% en de druivenstokken zijn tussen 4 en 25 jaar oud. Wanneer de druiven voldoende rijp zijn worden ze handmatig geoogst en gesorteerd. Bij aankomst in de wijnmakerij worden ze direct geperst en gaan ze in temperatuur gecontroleerde roestvrijstalen tanks. Hier ondergaan ze de alcoholische fermentatie, daarna rijpt de wijn 6 maanden op barriques.
