In de handen van een Vistani waarzegger onthullen de Tarokka kaarten visioenen uit de toekomst en de antwoorden op duistere en mysterieuze vragen.Het Tarokka Deck is gemaakt om te gebruiken bij het avontuur Curse of Strahd, en wordt in het spel bijvoorbeeld gebruikt om random elementen in het spel te brengen. Bovendien zitten er spelregels bij voor Prophet's Gambit, een kaartspel voor 3-5 spelers.Ook zijn de kaarten gemaakt met prachtige - of gruwelijke, afhankelijk van jouw smaak - afbeeldingen, perfect passend in de duistere setting van Barovia.
