Description
Midden in de nacht wordt er bij Emily thuis een geheimzinnige brief bezorgd. Daarop vertrekt haar moeder naar een onbekende bestemming en komt niet meer terug. Als ook Emily’s vader verdwijnt, weet Emily wat haar te doen staan: haar ouders zoeken. Klokslag middernacht gaat ze een deur binnen, die enkel op dat moment opengaat, en volgt een bloedstollende avontuur waarbij ze wordt opgejaagd door een wezen dat rechtstreeks uit een nachtmerrie lijkt te zijn gekomen. Emily weet niet meer wie ze kan vertrouwen? Zal ze haar ouders ooit weer terugvinden?
