Lucie heeft een groot geheim. Diep onder haar huis heeft ze een verborgen ruimte gevonden: een magische apotheek! Hier worden magische geurtjes gebrouwen waarin enorme krachten schuilen. Lucie, haar buurjongen Mats en haar broertje Benno hebben de opdracht gekregen om de apotheek te beheren.

In hun zoektocht naar de dief komen Lucie en haar vrienden terecht in Utrecht. Daar krijgen ze hulp van een man die al heel lang niet meer in leven hoort te zijn. Lukt het Lucie en haar vrienden om het meteoorpoeder te vinden en de magische apotheek te redden?
