De geliefde Biegel-klassieker 'De Rode Prinses' is eindelijk weer beschikbaar en prachtig opnieuw geïllustreerd door Charlotte Dematons. Het verhaal neemt je mee naar het Witte-Torenpaleis waar de Rode Prinses haar hele leven heeft doorgebracht zonder ooit gezien te worden.
Maar op haar twaalfde verjaardag is het eindelijk zover: ze mag naar buiten in een prachtige koets. De feestelijke dag wordt al snel verstoord wanneer ze wordt ontvoerd door drie rovers. Het volk is geschokt, maar al snel rijzen er twijfels. Bestaat de Rode Prinses wel echt of is het allemaal een spel? Kan ieder meisje met rood haar zich zomaar voordoen als de Prinses? Ondertussen weet de échte Rode Prinses te ontsnappen uit de handen van de rovers. Nu moet ze zichzelf zien te redden in een meedogenloze wereld buiten het paleis.
