Dat zijn niet zomaar lukraak gedichten, nee, wij als lezers maken kennis met dertien verschillende soorten gedichten, waaronder de meest bekende zoals een haiku, een elf en een sonnet. Ook de minder bekende gedichten krijgen een plekje in deze bundel. Had jij namelijk al wel eens gehoord van een spicht en een tanka? Westera laat ons in deze bundel kennismaken met al deze verschillende vormen en door haar uitleg en voorbeelden wordt direct duidelijk wat de bedoeling ervan is.
