Het BLOOM bijenhotel is een ‘do-it-yourself’ bouwpakket dat volledig gemaakt is van duurzame en gerecyclede materialen. Het bijenhotel is ontwikkeld in samenwerking met de Nederlandse Bijenstichting. Met het bijenhotel help je de bij, dit is hard nodig omdat het helaas niet goed gaat met de bijenpopulatie.
De buitenzijde van het bijenhotel is gemaakt van landbouwafval en voorzien van een natuurlijke coating waardoor deze op een beschutte plek buiten kan hangen. Het binnenwerk bevat diverse formaten gaatjes, geschikt voor verschillende soorten wilde bijen. Daarnaast biedt de bovenkant van het hotel plek van andere insecten.
Het bijenhotel komt met een duidelijke beschrijving over hoe het hotel in elkaar te zetten is. Het volledige pakket kan als brievenbus-pakketje verzonden worden.
