Domfront is een Normandisch stadje met heel veel eeuwenoude perenboomgaarden, en heeft veel traditie met het maken van poiré. Het voert als enige poirégebied een appellation d'origine contrôlée: wie het label Domfront wil voeren, moet aan een aantal strenge voorwaarden voldoen. Jerome Forget is een perfectionist; alle peren worden met de hand geraapt en gesorteerd. De allerrijpste zijn het beste, maar dan moet er wel snel verwerkt worden. GO GO GO!
