Veronzinsels zijn een samentrekking van drie belangrijke elementen; zin, onzin en verzinsels.
Zin: alles dat waarde heeft, de zin van en de zin in het leven.
Onzin; alle dingen die eigenlijk niet kunnen, maar wel leuk zijn.
Verzinsels; invullingen van de gedachten van anderen. Hoe denken, voelen, vullen en verzinnen andere mensen en nijl- en zeepaardjes het leven.
De tekst die ontstaat is kort en krachtig, ontdaan van overbodige woorden. Vaak een beetje humor, altijd met inhoud. Teksten die met weinig woorden veel zeggen.
De achtergronden worden gemaakt met wisselende technieken. Schilderen, linoleumsneden, foto’s of stencilinkt. De afbeelding wordt gedigitaliseerd, bewerkt en de tekst wordt er ingezet. Een veronzinsel valt op z’n plek.
