Deze wijnen komen dan ook zonder uitzondering van hun beste wijngaarden. De afgelopen jaren is een hoop tijd, geld en energie gestoken in het verhogen van de kwaliteit om zo druiven met een hogere concentratie te kunnen produceren. Deze investering heeft de wijnen van Cascina Garitina meer structuur gegeven en een karakter waaruit het lokale terroir duidelijk naar voren komt.
De Firina Barbera d'Asti heeft een heldere intense robijnrode kleur met een elegant en geconcentreerd bouquet. De smaak is fris, vol maar gestructureerd en elegant met een lange afdronk.
