Waarom Eco&Social?
Lifestraw zet zich in om over de hele wereld schoon drinkwater toegankelijk te maken. In ontwikkelingslanden wordt maar weinig gerecycled en plastic waterflessen belanden daarom vaak in de natuur of worden verbrand. Sinds de start van het project in 2014 hebben al meer dan 1000 scholen in Kenia en India toegang gekregen tot schoon drinkwater, dat zijn in totaal 633.777 schoolkinderen.
