Kiembrood is een smaakvolle broodspecialiteit. De complete tarwekorrels worden voor dit brood 2-3 dagen gekiemd, daarna gemalen en een aantal uren op een lage temperatuur gebakken (110-130 graden). Zo blijft het natuurlijke vochtgehalte van de kiem behouden. Tot slot wordt het broodje gepasteuriseerd (tussen 70-95 graden) in de verpakking, daardoor krijgt het de lange houdbaarheid. Omdat de hele graankorrel wordt verwerkt, blijven alle waardevolle voedingsstoffen, onverteerbare vezels en vitale stoffen behouden. Door het hoge koolhydraatgehalte smaakt het brood een beetje zoet.
