Een wijn met een oude geschiedenis. Al rond 1300 verkocht Hughes Salomos zijn wijnen aan de paus! Clos Salomon is de naam van het domaine, maar ook van de wijngaard. De wijngaard is een monopole, wat wil zeggen dat er maar 1 eigenaar is. Iets wat in de Bourgogne vrij zeldzaam is. De wijn rijpt 1 jaar in houten vaten, waarvan 1/3 nieuw is. Prachtige ronde, wat rustieke wijn, met zwoel bessig fruit en een lange afdronk.
