Glen Scotia 9Y Campbeltown Malts Festival 2024, ter ere van het jaarlijkse Campbeltown Malts Festival presenteert Glen Scotia deze unieke 9-jarige single malt, speciaal gebotteld voor de editie van 2024. De whisky is ongeturfd en rijpte negen jaar in first-fill bourbonvaten, gevolgd door een finish van minimaal zes maanden in Fino sherryvaten. Gebotteld op vatsterkte (56,2%) zonder kleurstoffen of koude filtratie, biedt deze limited edition een smaak met de kenmerkende maritieme invloeden van Glen Scotia en de subtiele droogheid van Fino sherry.
Aroma & Smaak:
Aroma: Warme specerijen, gestoofde perzik, kruidnagel en een frisse minerale toets van citroengras. Frisse, bloemige tonen met hints van citrus en witte vruchten.
Smaak: Zoete melasse en karamel, aangevuld met pruimen, vijgen en kruidig sandelhout. Een subtiele hint van gewaxt hout zorgt voor diepte.
Finish: Lang, droog en verfijnd, met een delicate maritieme ziltigheid en uitgebalanceerde houttonen.
