Eikenbladsla ‘Salad Bowl’ is een licht gekrulde eikenbladsla welke ook geschikt is als pluksla. Deze sla heeft zacht blad met een zoete smaak. Een groeikrachtig en decoratief ras. Alle slarassen zijn goed te telen. Sla heeft een korte groeiduur (6 à 8 weken) en het is dan ook belangrijk om de planten in een jong stadium te verspenen/verplanten. Sla is vooral lekker wanneer u niet te veel bemest.
Omdat de zaaiperiode (augustus/september) gunstig valt, kan men met veldsla de vrijgekomen stukjes grond goed benutten. Zaaien in oktober is te laat, tenzij men beschikt over een kas of platte bak. Een nauwe rijafstand van 10 cm is mogelijk, maar een ruimere afstand is plezieriger i.v.m. schoffelen. Grofzadig.
