Havana Club 3yDe roots van Havana Club gaan terug tot 1878. Havana Club werd pas later als merk gelanceerd om de Cubaanse binnenlandse markt en de export markten te veroveren. De merknaam refereert naar de oorsprong van de Cubaanse rumproductie en de unieke sfeer van de hoofdstad Havana, waarmee het merk Havana Club zijn embleem aan dankt, de Giraldilla. De kunst van het rijpen en mixen van de premium quality rums wordt al deccenia lang in stand gehouden op tradionele Cubaanse wijze volgens het oorspronkelijke recept van de Maestros Roneros.
