HeltiQ Elastisch Fixatiewindsel is bedoeld voor het vastzetten (fixeren) van een HeltiQ Gaaskompres en/of een HeltiQ Zalfgaaskompres. Door de elasticiteit geeft het fixatiewindsel een hoge mate van bewegingsvrijheid en het windsel is dan ook erg geschikt voor gebruik op bewegende lichaamsdelen.

Gebruik
Wikkel het elastisch fixatiewindsel zoveel mogelijk “dakpansgewijs”, waarbij de slagen elkaar gedeeltelijk overlappen. Trek hierbij het windsel slechts lichtjes aan, zodanig dat het niet afknelt.
Werk bij het verbinden zoveel mogelijk van smalle lichaamsdelen naar bredere lichaamsdelen, bijvoorbeeld van de enkel richting de kuit.
Niet gebruiken bij
Een elastisch fixatiewindsel is niet bedoeld voor het aanleggen van een steun- of drukverband. Hiervoor dient u een HeltiQ Windsel Cambric of een HeltiQ Steunwindsel Ideaal te gebruiken.
Waarschuwing
Leg het verband niet té strak aan, dit knelt af. Een te strak aangelegd verband herken je aan:
- Verkleuring van de uitstekende delen
- Verergering van de pijn
- Tinteling of gevoelloosheid in de uitstekende delen
- Minder goed in staat zijn de uitstekende delen te bewegen
