Studio Kars + Boom is een ontwerpstudio bestaande uit Kevin Kars en Cynthia Boom. Dit ontwerpduo maakt illustraties die zich als infographics laten lezen. Met hun illustraties vertellen ze verhalen.
Studio Kars + Boom wil met zijn kleurrijke ontwerpen ontsnappen uit de werkelijkheid. Ze creëren nieuwe werelden waarin ze het liefste iedere dag wakker zouden willen worden. Ze willen je laten lachen, stilstaan, kijken, verwonderen en ontdekken. In hun ontwerpen zoeken ze naar de geometrie in landschappen, vormen en patronen in steden, waarmee ze een nieuw lijnenspel creëren.
Dit doen ze in hun vrije werk en het werk dat ze in opdracht maken, zoals infographics, plattegronden en productontwerpen.
