Kefir is een gefermenteerde melkdrank die zijn oorsprong vindt in de Kaukasus. De lichtzure, smaakvolle drank van Rauw Power wordt gemaakt van rauwe melk afkomstig van Boerderij Het Hengelman in De Lutte. Hun koeien lopen het hele weideseizoen buiten. Kefir is van origine gemaakt met het 'kefirplantje', een kolonie van honderden soorten melkzuurbacteriën en gisten. Een friszure drank, met gisten die koolzuur produceren en een aantal vitaminen die de bacteriën helpen groeien. De bacteriën produceren ook verschiedene vitaminen (zoals B12 en K2) en tryptofaan (een voorloper van serotonine, bekend als een gelukshormoon).Informatie met betrekking tot allergieën en speciale diëten
